Well, today I hosted a Writers Workshop at Belgrave Library with my good friend and acclaimed author Stuart Hill. Venue was great and it is so good to see a library full of people and buzzing with conversation. Gone are the days of a “shushing librarian” and it is good to see that the Library is a really vibrant place in the community.
The workshop was intended to look at Leicester and Leicester stories and our participants took that on board and produced some excellent work!
Stuart of course got distracted and gave us all insights into Leicester history, ghosts and talking Snow Leopards. Don’t ask!
Next workshop at Aylestone Library on February 21. From 2.00 till 4.00.
